Description
MACX Pallet Bins are made to meet the most rigorous demands in industrial, food processing, and agricultural applications and meet the USDA/HACCP standards for food handling. These high-impact resistant HDPE structural foam, fixed wall containers are rugged and recyclable and have been proven in the primary industry and for industrial applications in USA for years.
This variant of the MACX 1000 features Replaceable Skids. The skids are moulded using the same impact resistant material as the body of the bin and are robust. These do not come away from the bin easily as can be experienced with other bins therefore there is minimal chance of them pulling out of the bin body if the bin is inverted by using a rotating head forklift. There is also the added benefit of the skids sealing off the corner posts on the undercarriage of the bins and this format can be preferred if being used in critical hygiene areas. Should the skids become damaged or worn out, they can be easily replaced by drilling out the "buttons", removing the damaged skid or central foot, and then simply snapping in a new one to prolong the usable life cycle of the bin.
The container is robustly built to stack up to 10 high with (uniformly-distributed) loads totalling 6500 Kg's. The Structural Foam HDPE plastic construction of this bulk bin yields the following features: washable, UV resistant, and repellent toward bugs, insects, and mould. The runners for this container are situated along the longest side of the bin. Customisations are also available including shortened and lengthened options, low and high wall options, and various drop gate configurations.
These pallet bins will nest one inside two as shown in the product pictures providing a return ratio of 2:3
