ES Plastics has recently reinvested into the latest drum moulding technology by installing a new machine capable of forming a drum using multi-layer technology.  Our NEW Drums are moulded using this Coex Machine which forms an outer skin and an inner skin both melded together during the moulding process.  This technology allows us to use different blends of materials which provides for a strengthened drum overall, and the potential to utilise in house regrind for a NON DG Variant providing a circular and sustainable solution when viable.

At the same time as the machine was being commissioned, we invested in new tooling also using the latest technologies and now have a 200 Litre Drums that closely follows the international standard in design and performance.  Our customers now have the added assurance that product packed into our new drums will be accepted globally and be able to be handled without issue.

The standard option is the ESP 200 Litre Closed Head Drum in DG Approved Format  which is ideally suited for products that are rated as hazardous chemicals in Packaging Groups II & III and that have an SG Rating of 1.4 or less. 

To compliment the locally moulded ESP 200 Litre Closed Head Drums, Copack has extended the drum range to include a selection of high quality Open Head Clamp Band Drums (DG Rated for Solids only) in addition to a 100 Litre Closed Head Drum that is DG Rated for liquid based products.
