Description
The S4044B by RWC is a swivel frame zinc plated castor utilising a polyurethane wheel, and fitted with a brake mechanism. This swivel castor is one of our 300 series range and can safely take loads up to 200kg. The S4044B is assembled with roller bearings on the castors axle and is baseplate mounted. The swivel frame design of this castor allows the castor to swivel 360°. The overall polyurethane wheel diameter is 100mm, the wheel width is 35mm and you can order the wheel separately (PU4408). This model can also be ordered without a brake (S4044).
The benefit of using one or more braked castors is evident on uneven or sloping surfaces as when the brake is activated, the platform that they are fitted to cannot roll away when unattended.
