Description
The 785 Litre Collapsible Pallet Bin is ideal for larger loads, and is the big brother to the 400 Litre Collapsible Bin. The base is the same as the smaller bin and therefore can be used in conjunction with each other to provide a modular transport solution. These bins have two runners on the outer edges of the base as well as central support to cope with heavy loads without compromising the integrity of the base.
As this bin has higher sidewalls than the smaller bin, there are two access doors, or drop gates, per bin. These access doors enable the user to release the door by a spring loaded latch, let it fall to the side, and then reach into the bin and pick contents from the base area without needing to over extend themselves as is the case with bins that do not have these access doors fitted. One access door is on the 1200mm side and another is on the 1000mm side meaning that access can be easily obtained wherever the bin is positioned.
These bins come equipped with Label Holders so that a a card denoting the contents can be inserted allowing users to ascertain what is inside without needing to visually check and inspect the contents when the bins are stacked on top of each other in storage or in transit. Supplied as standard is a blue "Dust Cover Lid" that clips into the top of the inner sidewalls when erected, as well as into the base when collapsed to securely locate the lid when in use to further protect the contents inside. We can also supply an additional Drop on Lid if this option of lid is required.
Both the 400 Litre and the 785 Litre Collapsible Bins have encapsulated fork entry on the 1200mm side, and open entry on the 1000mm side enable the use of 4 way entry pallet trucks (jiffy lifts). The skids have bevelled surfaces to assist in pallet trucks gaining access from the 1200mm side which enhances usability in area where the bins may be in close proximity to each other in confined areas, i.e. in the back of a close sided truck and trailer unit where the user may need to move the bins by pallet truck onto the tail lift or loading ramp.
As these bins are manufactured from different components, it is possible to replace sidewalls, bases, and skids should they become damaged through intensive usage, or by forklifts.
