Description
These crates provide the option of using two different locations when engaging the bale arms when stacking one crate on top of another. When engaged into the lower location, the crates sit deeper into the crate beneath, therefore providing a crate with a usable capacity of 23 Litres. If the bale arms are engaged into the higher location, then the crate sits higher above the crate beneath and then provides a usable capacity of 28 Litres.
The Dual Height 23/28 Crates are of a deep nesting design for efficient return logistics as have a nesting factor of just 42mm. The body of the crate is stippled which assists in the manual handling aspects as this offers more grip and has the added benefit of making the crates more harder wearing and minimises scratching of the surface areas. A stippled surface can also assist in the washing process in regards to adhesive label removal as the water can get underneath the label and cause it to slough off under pressure.
These crates are moulded in New Zealand using a high grade of impact resistant polypropylene (PP) completed with glass filled nylon (GFN) swing handles. They have a thinner wall section to the RE Series of Heavy Duty crates and we would classify these as being of a Medium Duty crate.
The Dual Height 23/28 Litre Crates are generally used for small to mid-sized produce depending on where the bale arms are engaged when stacking.
We do not stock these as a rule, and only make available ex moulding, but may have some Grey in stock from time to time so please double check on availability if this crate is of interest to you in smaller quantities. The standard MOQ on this size is 480 units and therefore we can offer these crates in a range of standard colours including Black, Dark Blue, Cobalt Blue, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, and Yellow. For product that we can supply ex stock, please consider the OPTILOG OVBC25 Crates.
We can hot foil stamp these crates at the time of production on either both long sides, or just one side.
