Description
To compliment the COPACK Fish Cases we designed an interactive lid to enable the crates to be used as Iki Bins where each crate becomes it own "chilly bin" to ensure that premium species of fish are kept in pristine condition before being processed.
If not used for each individual crate, the lid can also be used to cover the crate at the top of each stack to keep birdlife, flies and other pests away from the exposed fish.
At the base of the crate in each corner is a formed channel under the drainage hole to direct slurry towards the handle area where it will then drain externally and not pool on the top of the lid. The lids are ambidextrous and will fit onto the crates in both directions.
The lids clip into the handle area of each crate to minimise the risk of them being lost overboard, or in transit. We also designed the lid to have a nesting factor further minimising the chances of them being blown overboard, and to decrease storage space when stowed aboard vessels.
These are available in Natural or White, but can be moulded in corporate colours to match the colour of the crates, and can also be Hot Foil Stamped.
