50 Litre Stackable Auto Crate with Access

Description

The Auto Crate range was designed for the Australian automotive manufacturing industry when in its heyday with thick walls and a vented base to allow fluids to drain through. Although automotive manufacturing has now ceased, these crates are still popular in the engineering industry and other manufacturing where a heavy duty crate may be required for products made by punch or press where cooling fluids are used. The vented base allow the fluids to drain away so that the finished product is not sitting in a liquid reducing the onset of corrosion / oxidisation.

There are 3 product options in the range stemming from a 25 Litre Low Wall model to a larger 50 Litre High Wall crate, and this crate with an opening in one of the sidewalls to allow ease of access to the contents when the crates are stacked on top of each other.  This model of Auto Crate is often used as "flexible racking" for storage of smaller components that require to be picked and packed to fulfill orders in distribution centres.


For applications that do not require a vented base, or a heavy duty crate to the job at hand, our Stackable Tote Box range should be considered as these are ex stock across the size range.
