Light Weight Plastic Export Pallets
The Light Weight Plastic Export Pallets is this category are not designed to be used with racking and are purely for transiting and / or floor storage use only.
By using Plastic Pallets, the need to have ISPM-15 Certified wooden pallets is a thing of the past since plastic is non-porous and does not harbour bacteria, insects, or other pests. This means no documentation, extra costs for inspections, and therefore less delay at the border.
The injection moulded Nestable Export Pallets are ideal for single use applications where a light load is required to be sent via LCL Ocean Freight, or by Air Freight without the need to be concerned about any export certifications regarding wooden or fibre based pallets. Being nestable in design, a stack of 50 is generally under 2.5 meters high therefore they take up minimal space when in storage waiting to be used. Our main sizes are 600 x 800mm and 1200 x 1000mm with other sizes available on indent for 50+ quantities.
When you are wanting a pallet that will handle a heavier load and not flex under weight, we recommend that a Full Export Pallet be used. These pallets have skids all around the base of the pallet and these provide resistance to flexing under load. As these pallets have skids, they are often mistaken as being suitable for racking which we do not endorse but we are aware of these pallets being used in racking with very light and evenly distributed loads. As we are aware of this, we do test our pallets in this way, but cannot provide any certification, therefore is at the risk of the end user. We carry various sized pallets ex stock with the 1100 x 1100mm and the 1200 x 1000mm Pallets being our focus.
