SYSBEL 120 Litre Spill Containment Pallet - 2 x Drum

Description

The SYSBEL 120 Litre Low Profile Spill Pallet meets EPA requirements for the handling and storage of hazardous products and has been primarily designed for containers with an individual capacity of 100 Litres or less for spill containment, but can be used for larger containers if used for spill prevention.

Spill containment is designated as being the case where containers are stored unsupervised and spill prevention is when the containers are being either filled or decanted to catch any overflow when there is an operator present.

These industrial SYSBEL Spill Pallets are supplied with a single heavy duty slip proof HDPE grate that can support up to 1500Kg when stationary.  If these need to be moved, there are fork slots in the base enabling it to be transported by either fork lift or by pallet truck.  Ideally the containers should be removed from the grating before any repositioning is carried out unless they are secured to the spill pallet to prevent them from falling off in transit.

These Spill Pallets are also equipped with a drainage bung as seen in the photos.  If these are stored outside, without being under cover, they will fill up with rainfall water, and as part of on site maintence plan will need to be drained on a regular basis to ensure that if there is a leakage, there is sufficient containment available.  Should there be a spill, the contents can be decanted into another suitable container once the spill pallet is elevated (or by transfer pump) and then treated accordingly.

Our Spill Pallets are nestable to save space when not in use and are freight efficient when sending between sites unloaded.

Available in a high visibility yellow, these can be seen from a distance and are moulded from Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE) through the rotational moulding process which makes them very resilient to impact damage.
