DECADE MACX Pallet Bins
All DECADE MACX Pallet Bins are designed to meet the most rigorous of applications. With their innovative one-piece design, the MACX bins will work well in the Agriculture, Food Processing and Industrial industries.
Because of the strength and durability of the MACX Bins, they are ideally suited to applications of heavy usage such as fish processing, beef and lamb processing and the by products from these such as offal, bones, hides and skins for example.
We recommend these bins over the COPACK Pallet Bins where users demand a higher life cycle of bins to recover the initial outlay of purchase costs. Being moulded from impact resistant Structural Foam High Density Polyethylene (SFHDPE), these bins literally bounce off concrete when dropped from height with minimal or no damage sustained in the fall due to the small airpockets in the plastic material achieved through a special moulding process.
They meet USDA/HACCP standards for food handling, and can be steam cleaned. MACX Pallet Bins are temperature resistant, UV resistant, and can be stacked up to 10 high. They also offer compact storage, a versatile runner design, and are available in a variety of colours in solid and vented formats with an optional drop on lid.
The MACX ACE 1000 Bins differ from other SFHDPE Pallet Bins as they offer a choice between Integrated Runners on the 1000mm side or Replaceable Skids on the 1200mm side. Their design also enables the bins to securely locate onto each other in storage and in transit.
Bins with Integrated Runners can be preferred by users who perform multiple fork movements as the bin is generally entered from the 1200mm side, and with the runners being on the 1000mm side, provides unobstructed access to the bin, therefore the Runners do not become damaged by the fork tines and bins tend to last longer. When using a rotating head forklift, these bins are more supported and damage is minimised due to the smaller fork pockets as less movement on the forks is sustained. This bin option will also interstack with the Dolav 1000 bins.
Bins fitted with the Replaceable Skids can be preferred by users who experience wear of the base of bins when bins tend to be "shovelled" over rough surfaces as when the skids wear away, they can be drilled out and replaced enabling the bin to go another round without replacing the whole bin. The skids also seal off the base and corner posts of the bin from the undersides to provide a more hygienic product over pallet bins that have these areas exposed.
