OPTIMA 20 Litre Square Pail Base - CLEAR

Description

OPTIMA Square Pails are designed primarily for food-based products and are available ex stock in white or clear in most sizes, in capacities from 280 ml to 20 litres.  They can also be used for light industrial applications.  Complementing the base is a very high quality sealing lid that includes a tamper evident tear strip that features a "Ring-Pull" starting tab.  The 20 Litre Base shares the same lid as the 15 Litre Base.  Clear Bases are generally only sold with Natural Lids unless arranged prior to order.

Finished overall to a very high standard, OPTIMA Square Pails are FSSC 22000 approved, and the materials used in their manufacture are FDA approved for direct food contact.

The larger Clear Square OPTIMA Pails have less impact resistance than their solid white counterparts so more care needs to be afforded to them when handling and filling. These clear pails are still commercial dishwasher safe, and can withstand extreme temperatures between -20°C and 120°C enabling them to be used for hot fill applications but would not recommend freezing for longer periods of time as may lose their structural integrity.  

All OPTIMA Square Pails are supplied with a plastic handle as standard, and all components are moulded from food-grade polypropylene, and are fully recyclable.  The Clear Pails can also be supplied with different coloured lids and the bases enhanced with In-Mould Labelling (IML) or post-mould decoration using thermal heat transfer labelling (THTL) to create a distinctive on-shelf presence, subject to minimum order quantities. Please refer to the table below for minimum order requirements for these options.

Due to the nature of the larger Clear Square Pails, we only supply these in set carton quantities with the same amount of bases and lids packed in a single carton.  These cartons are then packed onto pallets to provide the pallet quantity to ensure that risk of damage to the bases in transit is reduced.
