CRAEMER has released the HB3 Hygiene Pallet Bin which is the first, and currently only completely sealed pallet bin on the world market. The NEW HB3 consists of two one-piece injection moulded elements. The body as the top part and the pallet base with three welded skids as the bottom part are seam welded together using a patented procedure that ensures maximum impact resistance and break strength. The weld seam is then contour milled, making it almost invisible.
The construction and design of the bin body ensures optimum hygiene as the completely sealed pallet bin has excellent cleaning properties and has no 'nooks and crannies' in which bacteria may settle. The seamless design, the smooth inner walls, and the welded skids allow easy emptying, cleaning, and drying and the fact that there are no exposed ribs or webbing provides reliable protection against contamination or water ingress. This makes the HB3 Pallet Bin the prefect solution for critical hygiene applications.
These bin also feature integrated 1 inch and 2 inch threaded blanks with a centre point to enable these to be drilled out if required, so that drainage bungs can be fitted to assist in the cleaning process should the bin become filled with liquid product. The HB3 Pallet Bin can withstand operational temperatures from -30 to +40 °C (and even 90°C for shorter periods, i.e. hot wash), and is resistant to most chemicals and cleaning agents.
The twin walled design of the bin's side walls above the fork entry points provides increased impact resistance against fork tines, while the reduced entry height ensures smooth workflows in automated high-rack warehouses. Due to the robust, welded skids with high dimensional stability, the Hygienic HB3 Pallet Bin runs maintenance and trouble free on all conveyor systems. The circumferential stacking step in the top and bottom rim also make the HB3 compatible with a wide range of other pallet bins.
