Description
This version of the CRAEMER CB3 Pallet Bin has all of the same features as the standard bin with the added benefit of being UN Approved for solids. The approval only applies when the lid is fitted and locked down by two tension straps so is therefore only sold as a complete unit which includes the bin, lid, and straps.
This bin is easily identifiable as carries the UN marking on two sides as shown in the pictures below and is rated for Packaging Groups II and III providing the primary contents are "Solid" and not liquid based, i.e. granules, powder. They can also be used to transport batteries or be used as a segregation bin.
Accumulators and batteries containing lithium require highly sensitive handling. Strict laws limit the risks deriving from these potentially flammable components. For logistical processes surrounding production, storage, transport, and disposal of these, CRAEMER have designed these robust pallet bins to meet compliance.
The CRAEMER UN CB3 Bin complies with the regulations laid down in the ADR for land transport by road, by rail (RIO), by sea (IMDG), and by air (IATA-DGR). While the bin component is available in various colours, the lids are always grey as standard. We may also be able to supply these in the 1200 x 800mm footprint size subject to availability.
Pricing on these is on application once colour and quantity details are provided. These pallet bins will nest one inside two providing a return ratio of 2:3 when empty.
